Premiere of 'Breathing Life into Boodja'
Tuesday 3 December 2019
We have had an amazing response to this event and it is now fully booked! But we are very keen for you and your friends and family to see the film, so we are making plans for follow-up screenings in the new year. This may include a special event in February 2020 as part of Albany’s Film Harvest at Orana Cinemas. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be notified of future opportunities to see ‘Breathing Life into Boodja’.
ABOUT THE FILM
This 48 minute film celebrates the enduring strength of Noongar culture and highlights the wonderful efforts of environmentalists, farmers, scientists, the Noongar community and local groups working in the central zone of Gondwana Link. It brings together their many stories in a powerful collective narrative of positive change, and shows how communities can rise to the great global challenges of our time – reversing ecological loss, respecting and embracing cultural richness, and growing food and fibre while enjoying the wildlife around them.
This is ecological restoration with community and culture at its heart!
This project is jointly funded through Gondwana Link and the Australian Government's National Landcare Program.
